Katrina Brehaut's contemporary designs are influenced by organic textures and patterns found in nature and linear elements of urban architecture. She hand makes all her jewellery using sterling silver, fine silver, gold, titanium and vitreous enamels. Katrina is currently an artist in residence at Hagley Community College and she teaches one-day jewellery workshops at Studio 7. Her jewellery was exhibited at the first New Zealand Exhibition of Jewellery Design in Wellington in June 2006. The Studio 7 workshop is located at The Arts Centre in Christchurch.
