Inspired by Japanese design, Cherry Blossom makes the most of gorgeous vintage kimono fabrics, decorative origami paper and contemporary textiles. The label creates everything from contemporary bags, stylish sash belts, and luxurious scarves through to distinctive jewellery, printed tees, and a range of unique gifts.

Owned by Emily Branthwaite and Katherine Cottier, Cherry Blossom’s over-riding philosophy is ‘Japanese-inspired design for home and individual’, which allows for products to be made from an array of materials, and gives scope to local artists and craftspeople who contribute to the label’s range of gorgeous accessories and gifts.

Wherever possible, Cherry Blossom sells items that have been designed and made in New Zealand or Japan; and supports creative New Zealanders who make beautiful pieces inspired by Japanese design.
